Reopening

Putnam County Public Library District will be reopening its doors on Monday, June 29th for patrons to reenter the branches. This marks the first time since March items from other libraries patrons will be able to check out materials from. Holds that were placed in March before we closed will be coming in transit shortly.
We do require that patrons wear masks when they enter the branches. There will be shields at each desk for safety purposes between staff and patrons. Materials returned will continue to be placed on a 3-day quarantine before other patrons is able to check them out. Please continue to maintain the 6 feet apart rule between people and wear a mask during this time. The 6 feet apart rule does apply to upcoming programs as well. It is recommended to continue to listen to our programs online preferably.
Visit our website putnamcountylibrary.org and use our online catalog http://search.prairiecat.info where you can find our material as well as other library materials. We do have our online digital library collection with ereadIllinois, Hoopla, Overdrive/Libby, Kanopy, RBDigtial, Universal classes you can continue to view.
